By using the services or products you agree to the terms of service as set out below. All quotations given are estimates and may be subject to change upon viewing the customer’s final artwork.
Quotes will be confirmed before before any work will commence. In the unlikely event that Woodletters.co.za has made a mistake on the quotation with regards to any pricing, terms, or specification, a revised quotation will be done and if the customer does not accept the revised quotation Woodletters.co.za reserves the right to cancel the order and refund the customer.
The Products & Services on this Woodletters.co.za is available to South African clients.
Credit card transactions for Woodletters.co.za will be done via a Third Party Secure Payment Gateway, that have the needed Security in place.
Customer details on Woodletters.co.za will be stored separately from card details which you enter on our website, during Registration and will be private and not shared with any other party or company.
Woodletters.co.za takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution, and delivery of goods.
While we make all effort to produce colour as true and accurate as possible, various factors may cause some variation in the final colour of your Wood Letters and or Wood Plaque.
Orders are delivered door-to-door by a third-party courier for only R100 per order or R180 per 600x900mm Parcel. If our contracted courier cannot deliver to a specific area – this shall be communicated with the client to make alternative arrangements. The delivery period shall normally be 1-10 business days depending on the area and size of the order. In the case of heavy shipments, Woodletters.co.za reserves the right to choose the specific service depending on the area and size of the parcel.
It is your responsibility to inspect the condition of packages delivered and make sure you have received everything your ordered. If anything is damaged, you should either refuse to accept delivery or make a concise note on the waybill that contents or parcel was damaged and notify Woodletters.co.za within 24 hours. Woodletters.co.za will not be responsibility for parcel shortages or damages not indicated.
Whilst courier services contracted by Woodletters.co.za do boast a good track record for timeous delivery services, allowance must be made for unforeseen circumstances (hijacking of vehicle breakdowns, weather conditions, etc.,). Any delayed delivery by a third-party courier shall not be considered non-delivery by Woodletters.co.za, and shall not constitute grounds for cancellation of orders.
Wood Letter or Wood Plaque orders where deposits have been paid shall be considered “in progress” and can not be cancelled. Refunds for cancellation shall be at the discretion of Woodletters.co.za and a 30% administration fee may be made for time spent or resources used in the event of any refund.
It is the Customers responsibility to verify all details of pre-production proofs before any work commences. Proofs will be emailed to you in JPEG format and may not be used for anything other than ordering from Woodletters.co.za. Computer displays differ from monitor to monitor and the final product may not be identically replicated to the colour displayed on any electronic display.
It is the customer’s responsibility to verify that all details on any proof are 100% correct before approving it. This includes any Text, Names, Dates, or contact details, images, fonts, shape or anything else that will be on the final Wood Plaque or Wood Letters. Woodletters.co.za shall not take responsibility for any mistake or oversight of the client on the final product.
All designs and/or logo design concepts that were done during a design that was not selected for the final logo shall remain the property of Wood letters.co.za and the customer shall only be allowed to use the finalised logo. Logo packages not finalised after 12 months shall be considered finalised and no further design work shall be done after this without being charged additional.
Where digital artwork is supplied by the customer, Woodletters.co.za will not take any responsibility for quality issues because of artwork problems. When the client supplies Artwork to us, they need to take responsibility for all Copyright laws and make sure they have the needed rights in place, to use any such Logos and or Trademarks. Woodletters.co.za will not be held responsible for any Copyright issues that may arise from : Client supplied Artwork.
Prices published on this website or in any quotation do not include extensive graphic design services. Any graphic design or artwork which requires extensive work done by Woodletters.co.za shall be quoted separately. In many cases where design is required, it will upfront be discussed with the client and additional setup fees may also apply.
If, Woodletters.co.za is unable to perform its obligations under these Terms of Service because of acts of god, strikes, equipment or transmission a failure or damage reasonably beyond its control, and specifically including any national State of Disaster imposed by the Government of the RSA or other causes reasonably beyond our control, Woodletters.co.za shall not be liable for damages resulting from such failure to perform or deliver the initial agreed upon services on time. In this event where Woodletters.co.za can produce your order, even though late, you further agree to accept late delivery thereof.

IP65 = Water resistant. “Protected against water jets from any angle” *Do NOT submerge IP65 LED lights, these are not waterproof. - Lifespan of 2 years can be expected.

- While all LED street number signs and their power supplies are thoroughly tested upon receipt from the supplier and again before dispatch to customers, we cannot provide a guarantee on their long-term functionality.

- Self-Installation Responsibility
- As these signs are designed for self-installation, we have no control over the installation process. Improper handling or installation may cause damage, which could affect performance.
- For this reason, we cannot guarantee indefinite operation of the LED lights once the product has been installed.
- Being a Self-Install Product, you are required to insure you have inspected the full extent of your installation, power supply needs and electrical supply. In all cases it would be advisable to chat to your electrician regarding this, to ensure you buy what you need. If in doubt, contact us prior to purchasing any LED Signage.
- Quality Assurance
- Every effort is made to ensure you receive a fully functional LED street sign. However, due to factors beyond our control (including power supply variations, environmental conditions, or installation errors), we are unable to offer warranties beyond the point of sale.

Wood Letters
Wood letters are made of whichever wood you choose... I make a lot of them with good quality MDF as they are really for the purpose of decoration after getting painted. I can make them outof super luxurious American Wallnut and it all depends on what you are looking for and the purpose you want them for.
Unllike laser cut Wood Letters I offer from 50mm right up to 500mm and thickness from 3mm up to 50mm thick. Think of the purpose of them and what would suit your needs. I am always available if you need advice or guidance. Contact me
Yes indeed! Wood Letters can pretty much be painted with whatever you have... I would advise sealing the wood first if you plan to use water based paints but other than that, they are happy with a vaiety of different pains.

Raw wood letters are not finished products. They are really meant to be a little passion project for my clients to finish themselves. They can be decorated, painted and embelished to your hearts desire and customised to fit in with your space. I am adding a custom wood letter section to the website soon and these will be finished and done for you... Watch this space
To attach wood letters to a wall in a way that looks simplistic and neat, I always advise good quality double sided tape such as 3M or Gorilla tape. Make sure you degrease the wall with something like acetone or rubbing alcohol. To attach wood letters to a project, I would use wood glue or even CA - otherwise known as super glue... Put small dots of it on and spread it thin over the entire wood letter surface to avoid the glue seeping out.
